Lisa Boesen is a Fort Collins–based professional speaker, award‑winning author, Certified Vegan Chef, and retired beekeeper who blends science, story, and seasoned humor to help audiences rethink health, self‑care, and plant‑forward living. With more than 40 years in healthcare and over three decades exploring the art and science of cooking, Lisa brings a grounded, relatable voice to healthcare teams, senior communities, women’s groups, and anyone craving a more nourishing way to live.

Her culinary training includes pasta‑making in Italy, the Forks Over Knives plant‑based course, and certification through the Vegan Gastronomy Culinary Academy. She is the author of Food ELEVATED, winner of the 2022 Colorado Independent Book Publishers Association Gold Medal.
